ATCA Webinar Series: Who's Flying Now? A Journey Into the Future of Aviation and an Update on New Entrants - Part 1

The DOT and FAA last month announced eight proposals for the brand-new Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) Integration Pilot Program (eIPP). The program accelerates the safe integration of next-generation AAM aircraft into the National Airspace System and will create one of the largest real-world testing environments for next-generation aircraft in the world.

Join our conversation with Chris to talk about this program and its significance to efforts to modernize the NAS and expand the capability to welcome new entrants.

Who's Flying Now? A Journey Into the Future of Aviation and an Update on New Entrants - Part 2

April 16, 2026 | 12:00pm - 1:00pm EST

Virtual

This webinar will explore the current state of integrating Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the U.S. National Airspace System (NAS), with a focus on what it will take to translate policy and certification progress into real-world operational success. While regulatory frameworks and aircraft approvals continue to advance, the critical question remains: Is the NAS operationally ready? The discussion will examine the infrastructure, tools, and procedures required to ensure safe, efficient coexistence between traditional aviation and new entrants—including the ability to manage both authorized operations and unauthorized incursions without compromising safety or system performance.

Panelists

  • Jessica Jones, Executive Director, Office of Advanced Aviation Technologies, FAA

  • Ralph Tamburro, Airspace Modernization, Port Authority of NY and NJ

  • Joby Representative

  • Moderator: Kate Fraser
