After a three-year, pandemic-mandated hiatus, the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Technical Symposium hosted more than 400 attendees who took part in three days of professional development.

The ATCA Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to an outstanding group of aviation students and children of air traffic controllers.

One of ATCA's goals for 2023 is to enhance the member experience. We depend on volunteers to support our association initiatives as a member-based association. One way to volunteer is to join one of ATCA's committees, interested members can learn more at www.atca.org/committees. Applications are due March 15th.

Then, and in the years that followed, as an FAA employee and later as a consultant, Bill Umbaugh was the consummate professional whose technical expertise was an invaluable asset to FAA and the Aviation Industry. Not to be understated was the friendship that he so willingly extended to all of us.
