Rising Professional Committee

The ATCA Rising Professional Committee was established to identify and develop a platform that would attract individuals in their entry and mid-career path to the ATCA community. This committee was established to reinvent and build upon lessons learned from a past ATCA member group Young Aviation Professionals (YAP).

The Committee Chair and Board Liaison are charged with recruiting diverse committee members from our community and ensuring geographic representation (not just DC); to provide networking, leadership, mentorship, educational, and community service opportunities to the ATCA’s Rising Professional members.

The Committee will focus on creating and providing access to ATCA member-supported special events to increase knowledge of the industry, access to aviation industry leaders, and industry networking.

A Rising Professional shall be defined as:

  • A member interested in a career path in the aviation industry
  • A member starting their career path in the aviation industry (0-5 years)
  • A member established in their career path in the aviation industry

ATCA is invested in the growth, challenges, and future of the aviation industry workforce.
