Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Scholarships are awarded to help support the financial needs of those deserving students who have chosen to seek higher education in the science of air traffic control and other aviation disciplines, as well as children of air traffic control specialists.

ATCA Scholarship Fund

Last year, ATCA gave 11 deserving air traffic control and aviation science students a total of $71,000 to cover the ever-incrasing cost of higher education, and we hope to distribute at least that much in 2015. But we need your support to do it. Interested in donating? Click here. Or read the 2014 letter from Scholarship Fund Chair Cindy Castillo with more information.

*Canceled Due to Weather* 2014 Fall Scholarship Golf Tournament

Unfortunately, after reviewing the weather forecast for this Thursday, ATCA has decided it’s best to cancel the event. While October is typically one of the best months to host the event, this year’s forecast is predicting 40 mph wind gusts on Thursday, which are not ideal conditions for golfing.

Ultimately, ATCA’s goal is to host events where our members and friends can truly enjoy themselves. Thank you for supporting the Scholarship Fund – we will refund you if you have already registered, and alert you of the next ATCA event benefitting the Scholarship Fund. We hope to see you at a future ATCA event.
